The small village of Stara Baska is situated on the southeast of the island, above the gulf. The village exist from XIV century as a village of shepherds,
The village of Stara Baska is isolated,for those who want to be far away of tourist traffic, anyway easily reachable by straight road for about 2 km where in some parts just one car can pass.
Near there are some restaurants and camping on the coast.
