Island of Krk Croatia

It is situated on the south of the island, 43 km from the bridge of Krk. The town is interesting for its mediterranean architeture and long graveled beach (2 km), certenly one of the most beautiful on the world. Draga Bascanska is the small town very near to the town of Baska (4 km), locality crossed with the 45th parallel. Batomalj is in the valley of Baska. The church on the hill is the important Sanctuary. Jurandvor, is situated on a fertile country of the Baska and is famous for its' important croatian glagolic monument, called "Bascanska ploca" (around1100) conserved in the romanic church of St.Lucia, monument highly significant for the language, literature and history of croatian people.
